Hellow guys

I have 4 classes today. I have my part-time job tomorrow...Does it sound tiring?? I've already been tired though our 2nd semester just started.

By the way, I have "Peace, Conflict and Human rights" class on Friday and I have to tell what my research topic for report going to be to the professor. I thought of many topics. Korean community in Japan? Sounds interesting. Human rights and propaganda of Japanese commando like kamikaze and kaiten? Sounds interesting and may be new to foreign students... However I think I might research about child labor. This is the most interesting topic for me. I studied about child labor in Scott's class and human rights class in my 1st semester and was interested in this topic. Well...do you know anyting else about child labor?? Unfortunately I don't have any information except I learned in my 1st semester. I think I need to know more about present labor system and situation.

Incidentally, how many of you know about kaiten? I knew about it recently. My co-worker was reading a book about a man who had been a member of kaiten. Kaiten is torpedo in which there is a soldier. During the end of WWⅡ, this was introduced as a new way to attack battleships. Soldiers inside torpedos couldn't escape from the torpedos. They charged battleships. This was the end of their lives. Yes, kaiten is different type of tokkoutai. I will borrow the book form my co-worker today.

I should go otherwise I'll be late for Scott's class!

Talk 2 U l8er.

Hey guys!! How were your vacations??
For me, it was so-so. I enjoyed much, but I spend unhappy days also. For some reasons, it was unforgettable summer for me.

I've already come to school to have Pre-Departure classess. Also I have one class with foreign students. It is "Peace, Conflict and Human rights". Does it sound like the things we were doing in our class? I thought so. I was interested in Peace study so I took this class. BUT!! It is sooo difficult class with fast-speaking teacher and fast-speaking students. (Actually they speak not so fast,in usual speed. But for me, non-native English speaker, their speaking is fast.) Anyway, I can have friendly classmates in that class so I hope I will be able to follow the class and learn a lot. If I learn interest thing in that class, I will tell you on this page.
Resently I saw the home page of Peace Village in Germany. As I said, I' interested in peace study. While I was studying about peace and conflict in Scott's class, I always had an idea; I want to help children somehow. In Peace Village in Germany, injured children from mainly African country are taken care of. I'm interested the organizaton's activity. BUT.....I can't join the group because I can't speak German!! So...let me know if you know any group which has a similar system as Peace Village does.

Anyway, I hope you all have nice (rest of) summer vacations!
Talk to you later.
