Hey everyone!! How are you doin'??
I'm....maybe good! I have lots of things to do now and have the busiest time now. I have been thinkng "Now is the busiest" for a loooong time, I mean everytime I got many things to do I thought "Now is the busiest", but, guess what!? I became busier and busier....and FINALLY! Now is the busiest!! Give me time to sleep! Give me spare time to do what I wanna do! And give me chocolate----!! I'm frustrated :-(
By the way, I attended to my last "Peace, Conflict and Human Rights" class, and there were 2 presentations in the class. It was my first time to listen to students from overseas were doin' presentations! They were completely different from what I used to do, and seemed exciting. I hope I'll be able to have such presentation with Mio in Scott's class.
Oh I think I should work on my research paper now coz it's due on Wed! I'm procrastinating now.
CU guys!

P.S. I got comments from a girl in the U.S. and I'm really happy with them ☆《Hi tigerpearl, are you reading this post?? :-) 》 I wish I could write&speak better English! I'll keep on blogging after I leave to Aus, so I want many people to read my blog! Needless to say(write?), my blog will be about my life in Aus!

Hellow guys, how are you today? I'm good.

Do you know how much you are ?? or How much do you think you are ??
These questions sound strange, I know. But this indicates real ploblem in this world;the mixture of the rich and the poor.

I found a book a few years ago. It had interesting title on it. It said "Don't stole my heart". It might sound like love romance for some of you, but the word heart means his heart, his internal organ. I didn't bought the book because I didn't have time to read the book then, but I read the outline on its back.

He was a boy in poor country and one day he was sold to the rich as a servent. But actually it was not his real job for the rich. The rich bought not him, but his heart. He was cheated and brought to Asian country to have an operation to remove his heart, and....

I'm not sure abut the detail, but needless to say, it amazed me a lot. I'm not familiar to this topis, but I know the future of the children who don't have their internal organs. Of course this is illegal and terrible crime, but I've heard the rich who buy internal organs of the poors include Japanese. Can you believe it?? Imagine, if your precious person has weak internal organ and has to be given the internal organ transplant...but there's no time left for him/her to wait...then someone approaches you about business on internal organ, and he says the operation will be carried out secretly..... Will you kill the poor to save your precious person?? I think you answer NO, but it is true some Japanese answered YES and paid for the business. How shocking!!!
While I was searching about business on internal organs to write a paper for my class, I found the story of the poor who sold her kidney. She used to be poor, but her kidney brought her a lot of money which she can't earn even if she worked hard for the rest of her life. According to the website, there are some poor people who sold their kidney or eye, which people originally have in a pair. They think it is good to get money by selling them because they can live with rest of kidney or eye. How about this one?? I wanna have some comment on this topic.

I'm sorry if I upset you.

Yours, Yuka

Hey everyone! How was your holidays?? Actually I had only three days off including Sat. Sun. and Cultural day. I mean I didn't have 2more days off which many of you had....;-(

Anyway, I spent these days off going to school festivals(not at my uni) with my highschool friends, going to Kyoto with Mina, and working. When I went to the school festival, I felt strange because there was few foreign people there, only around five. I realized how international my uni was. I ate a lot at the uni and dropped at Umeda for shopping. My favorite food there was a flavored cotton candy. My friend bought strawberry flavored, and I bought lemon flavored. Both were delicious!!! Next day I went to Kyoto with Mina. We walk around Sanjo and ate a piece of chocolate tartelette. After that Mina and I bought lanterns in which we can place aloma candles. They have pattern of snow flakes on them and very romentic! By the way, did anyone see my T-shirt today? I bought it at Kyoto, and Mina wore same one with different letters today. It's cool, isn't it??

When I visited Kyoto for my first time, I thought Kyoto was historical place. I visited around Kiyomizu temple at that time. But 2nd and this time, I thought Kyoto had both historical and modern faces. I personally think in my home town Nara, it's hard to find sceneries like Kyoto, where historical and modern characters harmonize well. In Nara city, you can find temples and shrines after you work about 10 minutes through modern shops and amusement stores. Don't you think this is unattractive?? If you really want to enjoy Nara, you should visit Naramachi, the only place I can think of. Naramachi has historical aspect. But I think you can't enjoy harmonized sceneries in Nara. I feel sorry for dissappearing fascinating place in Nara.

People from foreign countries may expect to visit historical places in Japan, but are they satisfied with present Japan without tradition??
