WELCOME PARTY @METRO

Hello everyone!!! I went to the metro, a big club in the city lastnight. My uni reserved the second floor for ECU students, and we could enter the metro for free, and enjoyed clubbing there!!! Well, Id never expected that there were sooooo many ECU students!!!! And we met a Asian gal and she is the new student who is gonna study in the same campus as I... I hope i'll see her again!!

On Fri, we went to the gbt, the pub near our student village, and the welcome party was on Sat night.... 2 nights clubbing a week is fun, but tiringggg coz its series-Fri and Sat!!!! I think Im not so young anymore..

And guess what? I bought some clothes here, and a few of them are for clubbing... I cant wear them in Japan, coz I don go clubbing in Japan!!! Theres few clubs and pubs .. but only ard my home uni, 2hours away from my home!

Tomorrow I have two classes. The latter one is Beverage Appreciation, but Im thinking of dropping the class. Coz I heard that the evil lecturer are going to teach us some sections of the subject, instead of the regular lecturer.... and we need to buy a set of tasting glasses.. it means we are gonna drink some amount of beverage, including beer and wine, during this class. But I cant enjoy the taste of beer and wine!!
Also, I don wanna reel along the way to home on Monday!

Hello everyone!! I just feel like sharing this sweet, fluffy doggy with you She is one of the doggies I found on the Bells Beach in Melbourne. At first i was trying to take a pic of her bout 50m away from her, but she noticed me and approached me. How cute!!!!! I uploaded a pic of me with another doggy on Flickr. You can check it as well. Also, I have the short video of me with the doggy.... but I was so excited, so I couldnt help grinning and talking in strange voice in the video... Yoko and Keiko laughed at seeing it, and even I laugh at the film.....

Hey mates!!

I went to the city to be a volunteer of the event for new international students. I had been interested in being a volunteer staff, but i was not confident if I could do that. But this time, I tried! I found it was quite fun!! The event was called the Great Race. Around 25 pairs made the rounds of some check points and got to the goal, Town Hall in the city. Some groups of volunteer staffs were standing at each check point. My partner and I were at the 4th(maybe!) check point. But the check point was rather 'check area'. We were told to hung around the area and groups of new students would find us. We had apx 1 hour before our check point opens, so we had cups of hot chocolate before our work;) Our volunteer work were to give participants a stamp and next clue. Eazy ones! Though we had a small trouble, it went smoothly, I think. After that, we all-volunteers and participants, had lunch together. Free food again!! Luckyyyyy meeeeee ;P

Then we hung around the city, and had bubble tea together!! I had a peach milk tea with jelly-the one I had in my first time to came to the city! Yum yum---- :D

When I went back home, I got an email from my mom. I had sent her some kinds of beer, chips and chocolates. And I had sent 2 sets of tea cups for my sister's engagement. That tea cup was so lovely!! The shape of it is unique, and a sweet heart appears when she pours tea(or coffee, hot chocolate.. anything!). At first I bought them coz I liked them, but I thought this sets of tea cups would be a good present for my sister's engagement! Anyway, I was so happy to hear that my mom was pleased with my little gifts. My sister is not in my house now, (she is at work) so I hopr she will like the sets of tea cups!

Ohhh I think i had a really nice day today!! Hope tomorrow will be a great day as well!!! And hope my housemates are coming back soon ;)

One more semester to go!!!

I went to the city today and bought a package of rice cake! I sometimes miss Japanese food!!!! And this time, it was rice cake! Now I can eat them!!! Rice cake, here I come!!!!

Residents in my student village had free pizza tonight!! Free food is always welcome! We had this pizza night in the beginning of last semester, too. It was my first semester in Perth, and this time, the pizza night really made me realize that I have only one more semester to go. No more free pizza... ooops, no no!! Im not talking bout pizza!!!
You know, half of my term as exchange has already passed. What have I been learning? Has my english been improving?? Am I taking advantage of this chance??
I guess the answer is invisible... Someday in the future I might notice something happened to me, or others might see the change.

My life here is never better so far.... I hope this coming semester will be full of happy stuffs. I will cherish all my time here with my loved ones..

NEW NEW NEW!!

Well, Im happy to tell you that I passed all the units I took in my first semester here!! Whoopeeee "∩(´∀`∩)♪(∩´∀`)∩"

Now, new international students are coming into this Student Village. It reminds me of my time to came here. Farewells were so sad..... but meeting with new people is exciting. Im shy girl, you know, so Im a bit nervous bout it too, though. I hope I will be friends with many new students!!!!

Keiko and my recent habit is using 2ch-vocabularies!!! We knew them from Japanese movie 「電車男」, and we thought the 2ch-vocas were like new Japanese slang! We are not the 'obsessed ones in Akihabara', but its just fun to use new vocas.

Bye for now, mates!

Thank you for you four's advice

I can see the ending of my worry now.

Tonight, I got an important information about the cause(a guy) of my worry. At first, i couldn't help laughing to know the info. It was not funny at all, but I couldn't help laughing. And as time went by, I felt irritated by the guy who had worried, and has underestimated me.
Anyway anyway, this matter shouldn't be discussed on this blog, I think. Coz I don wanna bother my sweeties who concerns me.

For many of you, this post doesn't make sence, sorry about that.

But now I can say I was released from my worry!!! Thanks to all of you guys!! With big love from Uka! Mwoahhhh☆★☆

-Please dont return my love and kiss to me! I don't need my own love and kiss, I need them from my loved ones-from you guys' !! hahahh.... (I changed a bit of this sentence as my friend Federico said it sounds rude... I hopr you guys can get what I really mean now....)

So sorry for unclear picture. This is the Big Issue which I talked bout on my recent posts. Can you see the White Bands around those two arms??
Yuri told me that White Band sold in Japan is different from those sold in Australia. Yea, our White Band have the print says 'MAKE POVERTY HISTORY'. Yuri said Japanese ones dont have that print on them. I think it might be because Japanese people are not used to show such slogan. The White Band which doesnt have the clear slogan on it will be more acceptable for Japanese people, I guess. Maybe easier to wear for them. Bcuz I cant imagine gals who are carryig LV bags wear the White Bands with the print 'MAKE POVERTY HISTORY'! But most of my friends are not that kind and they might not me bothered with the print, I think. They would buy the printed ones if they were in Australia.
I even think it is queer that such big number of Japanese people rush to get the White Band. Its is rare to see this kind of movement -the movement to change this world- in Japan, so I think the change of the design of the White Band was a good idea. The change may result this heated up concern with poverty.

Hello guys. These are the white band that Yoko and I got in Melbourne. The right arm is mine. Im wearing two rubber bands. One is the white band for poverty, and the other is the band for breast cancer research. I told you guys about both of these rubber bands, so I just wanted to up my pic on my blog today! This pic imitated the cover of the Big Issue Vol.231 sold in Australia. Did the Big Issue sold in Japan have the same article as the one in Australia?? I think not.. but the cover caught my eyes when I saw it. I bouthgt the Big Issue and read bout the white band. Now we can know the information bout the white band on www.makepovertyhistory.com.au , but I havent seen many celebrities appear on the media in Australia, unlike Japan....
Bye tonight, Im so sleepy now!!

If someone (who you don't like as an object of love) shows his/her interest in you.....

What will you do?

Im not a type who is popular among guys, but in my case..... I feel like escaping from the guy..

Does this sound strange to you??? Yes, even I think that Im A BIT strange about this. Since I was young, oh no Im still young (hopefully!!), well, since i was in junior-high, I was not good at warding off guys seducing me.

You may think 'Uka, why dont you just tell him ya feeling honestly?'.... I wish I could!!! but I cant say things in roundabout way, so it often be offensive.

In Japanese it is still ok, I can somehow make it roundabout, but in English, I don know how to soften my way to speak...

Can I say something like
-'I dont like you'?
-'Im not interested in you'?
-'Could you stop asking me out coz i don feel like goint out with you?'?

Can you think of any other good way but escaping?

On the 2nd day of our journey to Melbourne, we arrived at Australia's one of the most isolated station, Cook. Cook is in the remote village, and there were only a few houses, and a vast desert. Can you see the colour of the desert(sand)?? You may not see the colour of it in this picture, sorry... but its kinda orange! I had never seen such a desert... but I felt the colour was like the colour of the sun, and it makes exquisite harmony with the real Australian sun!!!
I really felt that 3days train journey was worth taking. I could see some kangaroos hopping, cows and sheep. Above all, Yoko and I enjoyed eating food on the train!! hahahh

We Are Leaving!!!
